Aramark is Seeking a Barista for the National Bank Food Service Operation in Montréal

POSITION: Barista

LOCATION: National BanK (800 Saint-Jacques Street, Montréal, QC H3C 1A3)

SALARY: $18.00/hour To be discussed during the interview.

SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday, daytime hours

START DATE: Immediately

Job Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY

This position contributes to the success of our specialty coffee counter by providing exceptional customer service. The Barista creates the Aramark experience for our customers by delivering prompt service and high-quality products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge to promote Aramark’s culture, values, and mission.
• Remain calm during busy periods or unusual events while maintaining smooth operations and setting a positive example for the team.
• Consistently prepare quality beverages, brewed coffee, and food items for all customers by following established recipes and standards.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by always putting the customer first, connecting with them, and identifying and responding to their needs.
• Follow Aramark’s operational policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations, to ensure a safe work environment during each shift.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace so that team members can easily access resources and products when needed.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience is considered an asset.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to understand and carry out both verbal and written instructions and seek clarification when necessary.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships

The successful candidate for this position will be required to complete a criminal background check and, where required, a vulnerable sector screening. Employment with Aramark will be conditional upon results deemed satisfactory by Aramark.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00.
