We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Barista to join the team at a prestigious 5-star luxury resort located just outside Cheltenham. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a world-class hospitality environment, delivering exceptional service and premium beverages to guests from around the world.
As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffees, teas, and specialty beverages while providing outstanding guest service. Working within the resort's café, lounge, and food & beverage outlets, you will play an important role in creating a memorable luxury guest experience.
Preparing and serving a wide range of specialty coffees, teas, and hot beverages to 5-star standards.
Operating and maintaining professional espresso machines and coffee equipment.
Delivering exceptional customer service and engaging positively with guests.
Ensuring consistency in drink preparation, presentation, and quality.
Taking orders accurately and processing payments where required.
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and service areas.
Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering and replenishment.
Following food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures at all times.
Recommending beverages, pastries, and other menu items to guests.
Supporting colleagues across food and beverage operations during busy periods.
Ensuring all guest interactions reflect the high standards expected within a luxury resort environment.
Previous Barista experience is preferred.
Experience within a luxury hotel, resort, café, or hospitality environment would be advantageous.
Knowledge of espresso-based coffee preparation and milk texturing techniques.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
A passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.
Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Positive attitude, reliability, and a professional appearance.
