THE JOB
The Part-Time Barista will provide exceptional hospitality, quality beverages and products whilemaintaininga welcoming and comfortable environmentThe successful candidate should be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about coffee, tea and drink preparation and go the extra mile to make their customer’s day with a perfect cup of coffee or beverage.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Prepare and serve consistently outstanding beverages by adhering to recipe standards.
Proactively engage with customers to deliver exceptional customer experience
Maintain a clean and organized space for guests and coworkers in all areas of the coffee bar
Assistwith setup, cleanup,inventoryand stock work
Contribute creative ideas for new menu items, drink art, unique beverage presentations, and seasonalspecialty offerings
Participate in local product sourcing andcollaborate with the team to enhance our coffee bar’s offerings
Always adhere to proper safety guidelines
Assistwith a variety of duties and tasks as directed
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
The ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers
Priorbarista orbartending experience preferred
Thrivesin a fast-paced environment and be comfortable working a flexible schedule when needed
1+ year experience in food service/hospitality is preferred
Ability to deliver exceptional hospitality in a personal and professional manner
Strong attention to detail andhealthy respectfor cleanliness
Reliable and consistent
Professional behavior and appearanceat all times
Ability to walk, stand and sit for periods of timeMust be able to lift,carryand/or move objects up to 30 pounds
Maintain professionalism while creating a welcoming environment for the artist, guests, family, crew, etc.
