Job Description

Our client, a well-known visitor attraction in Mellieħa, Malta, is seeking an experienced Barista / Beverage Server to join its food and beverage team. The successful candidate will prepare high-quality coffee beverages while also serving basic alcoholic drinks to guests in a busy and vibrant hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso-based drinks.
• 
  Prepare and serve basic alcoholic beverages such as Aperol Spritz, Gin & Tonic, and similar simple drinks.
• 
  Provide friendly and efficient customer service to visitors.
• 
  Handle orders, payments, and POS transactions accurately.
• 
  Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the bar and coffee station.
• 
  Ensure all drinks are prepared and served according to hygiene and safety standards.
• 
  Support the food and beverage team during busy service periods.

Requirements

• 
  Previous Barista experience is essential.
• Residing in Malta.
• 
  Good knowledge of coffee preparation and coffee machines
• 
  Ability to prepare basic alcoholic drinks (no advanced cocktail experience required).
• 
  Strong customer service and communication skills.
• 
  Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• 
  Good command of English; additional languages will be considered an asset.
• 
  Positive attitude, reliability, and ability to work as part of a team.
