The Barista is responsible for taking orders from customers and expediting coffee-espresso drinks and related food and beverage items. Handles food according to HACCP guidelines and is aware of minimum standards for a quality food service operation. Adheres to standard recipe guidelines. Responsible for accuracy of all assembled orders, maintaining par stocks, rotating product for maximum quality. Interacts with customers and other employees in a friendly and courteous manner.
Essential Functions
Maintains accurate production par levels of all food, drinks and general supplies in the Daily Grind.
Enters orders accurately into the POS devise, accepts cash and charge payments. Ensuring that the cash drawer is in compliance with overage/shortage standards.
Ensure all sanitization guidelines are followed and maintained during shift. Maintains safe work area & practices safe equipment usage.
Prepares beverage orders for customers using standard measurements, recipes & drink codes, with 100% accuracy.
