Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty with energy and enthusiasm. Experience

  • Previous barista, café, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic math skills and comfort handling transactions.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and event-based schedules.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Skills and Abilities

  • Experience with espresso machines and drink preparation
  • Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
  • Knowledge of food safety practices
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude
  • Working knowledge of cash register and cash handling procedures
  • Experience working events or in hospitality environments

WORKING CONDITIONS

Location: On Site (Elevate Café – Dayton Convention Center/Dayton, OH)
