Job Description

Baristas at Reid's primary focus is to provide the best customer service as possible. In addition to making amazing espresso drinks, Baristas are responsible for taking food orders, running food, restocking the retail market, and assisting customers with any additional needs. This job requires a positive attitude and someone who likes interacting with guests.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guest with positive vibes!
• Taking breakfast, lunch, and espresso orders
• Making delicious expresso drinks
• Running and expediting food
• Restocking the retail market
• Package to-go and catering orders accurately and efficiently
• Assist guests with allergy and dietary restrictions by answering questions about our menu, making appropriate suggestions
• Maintain a stocked, clean, and welcoming dining room, following all safety and sanitation procedures

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ experience as a barista or cashier preferred
• Team player who works well with others
• ServeSafe or Food Handler’s certification (or must be willing to attain)
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to lift 25+ lbs
• Ability to work standing for 8+ hours
