At Rixos Phu Quoc, great coffee is part of the guest experience — from the first morning cup to the afternoon pick-me-up. We are looking for a Barista who is service-minded, detail-oriented, and takes pride in delivering consistently good coffee with a friendly smile.
What you’ll be doing
Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty beverages in line with hotel standards.
Operate espresso machines, grinders, and related equipment correctly and safely.
Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all beverages.
Take guest orders accurately and deliver friendly, efficient service.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and equipment at all times.
Prepare mise en place for daily operations.
Follow opening and closing procedures for the outlet.
Monitor stock levels and report low supplies when required.
Handle basic cashiering duties in accordance with outlet procedures.
Adhere to hygiene, health & safety, and food safety standards.
Support other outlets or banqueting operations when required.
Attend training sessions and team meetings as scheduled.
1 year experience as a Barista in a restaurant, hotel, or resort preferred.
Basic knowledge of coffee preparation, including espresso-based drinks and brewed coffee.
Willingness to learn hotel service standards and beverage recipes.
Friendly, polite, and professional approach to guest service.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Good understanding of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety practices.
Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
