The Bare Wire Operator performs functions that operate the Wire Mills to draw copper rods into various gage size basket wire as required to meet production schedules.
Primary Responsibilities
� Properly sets up and strings up the wire mills
� Operates the wire mills to draw copper and aluminum rods to the required dimensions at the proper speed and produce wire in various gages
� Stages and places coils, welding coils into coils in the take up
Education Requirements
� High school diploma or GED equivalent
Minimum Experience Required
� Two (2) years of related experience
License(s) and/or Certification(s) Required
