The Barback supports bartenders by ensuring the bar is clean, stocked, organized, and operating efficiently. This role assists with product preparation, restocking supplies, and maintaining sanitation standards to ensure a smooth and exceptional guest experience.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience

  • Previous bar, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic bar operations a plus.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of beer, wine, and liquor preferred.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Understanding safety, sanitation, and proper chemical use.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and bar supplies.
  • Clean and maintain the bar area, including counters, sinks, floors, and equipment.
  • Remove trash, replace liners, and maintain recycling and disposal areas.
  • Assist with receiving, organizing, and rotating beverage inventory.
  • Refill ice bins and maintain proper ice levels throughout the shift.
  • Cut garnishes and prepare basic bar prep items.
  • Assist bartenders with service needs during busy periods.
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and company policies.
  • Report any equipment or maintenance issues to management.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
