At Mavericks Dancehall – The Colony, we believe great service starts behind the scenes. We’re a fast-paced, high-energy bar known for our welcoming atmosphere, strong pours, and loyal crowd. We’re looking for a dependable and hard-working Barback to support our bartending team and help keep our operation running smoothly.

What You’ll Do:

• Stock the bar with liquor, beer, wine, ice, mixers, glassware, and supplies
• Clean and reset the bar during and after shifts
• Assist bartenders during busy hours (e.g., restocking, changing kegs, prepping garnishes)
• Collect and wash glassware quickly and efficiently
• Remove trash and recycling throughout shift
• Perform opening, closing, and side duties as assigned
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

What We’re Looking For:

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Punctuality and reliability
• Previous experience is a plus but not required — we’re willing to train the right person!
• TABC & Food Handlers Certificate will be required
• In uniform and maintain a clean professional appearance
• Punctual and reliable
• A positive attitude with a strong work ethic
• Must attend monthly team meetings
