Barback/Utility

Welcome to Jack & Ginger's—the luck o' the Irish, deep in the heart of Texas. We're an AustinIrish pub boasting 82+ beers on tap, Irish Whiskey Towers, and delicious food. Located in the thick of the Domain's new entertainment district Rock Rose, Jack & Ginger's is the perfect place to chill with a happy-hour pint, or catch hours of endless soccer matches on the weekend.

We are looking for an observant, efficient barback who can work well with other team members to ensure that our customers receive prompt, seamless service. The utility team assists in cleaning the bar, preparing garnishes, ensuring the bar is well stocked with napkins, straws, glassware, and all other necessities and other duties to support the bartenders to ensure that the bar operates smoothly. You should be knowledgeable about menu items, attentive, and focused on providing the best possible service in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Create a clean and healthy space front and back of house
• Communicate clearly with coworkers and guests
• Cleanliness of bathrooms and storage areas
• Perform serving, cleaning, or stocking duties
• Change out kegs for draft beers
• Run food and assist with clearing and cleaning tables

Qualifications

• TABC and Food Handlers Certified, willing to obtain
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Works well with others
