Job Description

Bar Supervisor – Open Day

Join us for our London Museum Open Day!

Apply for our Bar Supervisor role and, if shortlisted, you’ll be invited to our Open Day at our Head Office on 28 September.

We’re looking for a Bar Supervisor to join Bartholomew’s at London Museum, opening its doors on 28 November in the heart of historic Smithfield, bringing together thousands of years of London’s history through world-class events, experiences and hospitality.

We are looking for a Bar Supervisor who loves bringing places to life, naturally connects with people and leads from the floor. Someone who gets genuine satisfaction from seeing familiar faces return, remembers people’s names and favourite drinks, and takes pride in helping a team deliver brilliant hospitality. You’ll be curious about cocktails, food and drink, and excited to share the stories behind what we serve.

Bartholomew’s will be a contemporary London bar inspired by the energy of the city, with an evolving cocktail menu curated by Mr Lyan Studio alongside London-made serves, draught beer and elevated pub classics.

If you’re excited by the idea of helping shape a bar that becomes a favourite London destination, we’d love to hear from you.

At Green and Fortune, we take pride of the connections we make through the moments and memories we create.

What makes you the Bar Supervisor?

Operations. Take the lead on shift, keeping the bar running smoothly and maintaining high standards of service, presentation and quality throughout the day.

People. Lead by example, organising and supporting the bar team, coaching colleagues during service and creating a positive environment built around great hospitality.

Cocktails and Product. Bring our drinks offer to life, ensuring cocktails and serves are delivered consistently while building the team’s knowledge and confidence around the stories behind our menus.

Bar Performance. Support stock control, minimise waste and keep an eye on product availability and service efficiency, helping the wider management team deliver a well-run and commercially strong bar.

Guest Experience. Be a visible presence on the floor and behind the bar, building relationships with guests, anticipating their needs and creating the kind of experience that brings people back.

What you’ll bring as Bar Supervisor?

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or senior bartender role within a busy, quality-led bar, with the confidence to take responsibility for a shift.
  • Strong cocktail and beverage knowledge, with the practical bartending skills to maintain quality and consistency during busy service.
  • Confidence leading and organising a team, coaching colleagues and maintaining service standards while remaining hands-on behind the bar.
  • A calm, organised approach, with a good understanding of stock control, wastage, opening and closing procedures and the day-to-day running of a bar.

Green & Fortune

About Green & Fortune

A variety of restaurants, bars, cafes and event spaces within four iconic central London venues.

Since launching in 2008, Green & Fortune has established itself as an award-winning independent hospitality company operating across both retail and events. We operate in four iconic London venues Kings Place in Kings Cross, Sea Containers and Rose Court on South Bank and Central Hall in Westminster.

Hospitality is in our blood. Whether it’s a social occasion in our bar, a catch up over coffee in the Cafe, a dinner in our restaurants or a private party in one of our event spaces, we commit to making each visit a relaxed and enjoyable experience, delivered by people who care.

This attention to detail can be seen across the company. It is there in the green fields of our own farm in Northumberland, where we source all our beef and lamb. It is in the wine and drinks list where we work with many individual growers and producers.
