Summary:

As a Bar Assistant in the hospitality and catering industry, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your responsibilities will include assisting bartenders in preparing and serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and providing support during busy service periods. This position is essential for enhancing the overall guest experience and contributing to the success of our establishment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist bartenders in preparing and serving beverages to customers
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area
• Ensure all glassware and utensils are properly cleaned and stored
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and taking drink orders
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as needed
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines
• Support the team during busy periods to ensure efficient service

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a bar or hospitality environment preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Basic knowledge of drink preparation and cocktail recipes is an advantage
