Bar Porter – Tropicana Laughlin

Why It’s More Than a Job

As a Bar Porter, you help create the smooth, efficient bar operations that keep our guests coming back. You support our bartenders, maintain clean and organized bar areas, and ensure every bar is fully stocked and ready to deliver Caesars Entertainment’s Family Style Service.

• Set up, stock, and clean all bars and bar service areas
• Maintain cleanliness of bars, storerooms, and surrounding areas
• Deliver bar products and supplies to bars and storage locations
• Ensure banquet event setups and breakdowns are completed efficiently
• Maintain organization, cleanliness, and security of the bar storage area
• Rotate stock and check product dates to ensure quality and freshness
• Assist bartenders by replenishing ice, glassware, mixers, and supplies
• Remove trash, recyclables, and used glassware from bar areas
• Report equipment issues or safety concerns to leadership
• Support special events and high‑volume periods with timely restocking
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager
• Provide Caesars Entertainment’s Family Style Service at all times

• One to three months of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
• Must be knowledgeable of all company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid SNHD Food Handlers Card and Alcohol Awareness Card.

Physical & Mental Demands

• Lift up to 25 lbs.; push and pull up to 25 lbs.
• Bend, stoop, twist, reach, and hear clearly
• Use tools and equipment with proper dexterity
• Walk for an entire shift; stand for long periods
• Walk up and down stairs
• Work in hot and cold environments
• Work in areas with secondhand smoke
• Maneuver in confined spaces
• Tolerate high‑noise and bright‑light environments
• Work in dusty conditions when necessary
• Frequent guest contact
• Work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Understand, read, write, and speak English
