Take the lead behind the bars at the iconic Murrayfield Stadium!
Join us as a Temporary Bar Manager (Maternity Cover) and play a key role in delivering standout hospitality at one of Scotland’s most prestigious venues.
From match days to conferences and high-profile events, you’ll lead from the front, keeping operations running smoothly, supporting your team, and ensuring every guest enjoys a first-class experience. This is a hands-on role where your organisation, leadership, and attention to detail will make all the difference.
What you’ll be doing…
• Running bar operations end-to-end: Delivering smooth, well-organised service across all events
• Leading your team on shift: Briefing, coordinating, and setting clear expectations
• Maintaining high standards: Ensuring service, presentation, and performance are consistent
• Managing stock effectively: Overseeing ordering, control, and usage to stay on budget
• Taking ownership of cash handling: Monitoring tills, processes, and reconciliation
• Setting teams up for success: Ensuring staff are prepared, uniformed, and ready to go
• Keeping things safe and compliant: Delivering briefings and maintaining H&S standards
• Working closely with operations: Supporting smooth delivery across all event teams
• Supporting your people: Helping with recruitment, training, and development
• Controlling labour: Aligning staffing levels with business needs
• Supporting event planning: Working with Sales to ensure bar setups meet event requirements
Working pattern: 5 days out of 7 | 37.5 hours per week | Including regular evenings and weekends
Fixed Term Contract: Maternity cover until the end of July, with the potential for a permanent opportunity within the business on completion.

Desirable:
• Experience in large-scale or multi-purpose venues
• Background in event catering or hospitality coordination
• Budget and cost control experience
