Salary Range: $25.00 - $27.00 Hourly
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Manager to lead our new bar social at the Hyatt Place Ocean City. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a high-energy, guest-focused environment and has a passion for hospitality, mixology, and creating memorable experiences. The Bar Manager will oversee daily operations, drive revenue, and ensure exceptional service standards while maintaining a relaxed, fun beach atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service
- Lead, train, and motivate bar staff to deliver outstanding guest experiences
- Develop creative cocktail menus that reflect a beach-inspired, social vibe
- Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to maximize profitability
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations
- Foster a welcoming, upbeat atmosphere that encourages social interaction
- Collaborate with hotel management on events, promotions, and themed nights
- Monitor guest feedback and continuously improve service quality
- Handle scheduling, payroll, and staff performance evaluations

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bar Manager or similar leadership role
- Strong knowledge of mixology, spirits, wines, and current beverage trends
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong financial acumen and cost control experience
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (preferred)
