As Bar Host / Hostess, you will be the welcoming face of our bar and lounge, creating memorable first impressions and ensuring a seamless arrival experience for our guests. You will play a key role in managing reservations and seating, maintaining the flow of service, and setting the tone for an elegant and engaging guest journey. This role is ideal for a polished and service‑driven individual who thrives in a luxury hospitality environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and greet guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a refined arrival experience
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimise service flow and guest experience
  • Escort guests to their tables, ensuring comfort and attention to detail at all times
  • Prepare and maintain the host stand area, ensuring menus and materials are clean and presentable
  • Monitor bar and lounge areas for seating availability, guest comfort, and overall ambience
  • Coordinate with the bar and service teams to support smooth and efficient operations
  • Organise seating for groups and accommodate special guest requests where possible
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of reception and bar areas throughout the shift
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest enquiries and requests
  • Ensure all place settings and presentation standards meet brand expectations
  • Uphold all health, safety and company policies and procedures
  • Foster positive relationships with colleagues across departments

  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage reservations and seating flow effectively
  • Confident and professional communication skills, with a warm and engaging approach
  • A proactive mindset, with the ability to anticipate guest needs and adapt to service demands
