We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Bar Executive to join our dynamic hospitality team in Visakhapatnam, India. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service whilst maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across all departments to ensure seamless operations and create memorable experiences for our guests.

• Prepare and serve a diverse range of beverages according to established recipes and quality standards, demonstrating expertise in mixology and beverage knowledge • Attend promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints regarding beverages and services, resolving issues with professionalism and empathy
• Maintain meticulous standards of cleanliness and organisation in the bar area and storage facilities, adhering strictly to HACCP regulations and food safety protocols • Operate bar equipment safely and responsibly, following all manufacturer guidelines and hotel safety procedures • Manage cash transactions and point-of-sale systems with accuracy and transparency, maintaining detailed records
• Monitor and control beverage inventory, conducting regular stock checks and placing orders to minimise wastage • Establish and maintain effective coordination with all hotel departments to maximise productivity, cooperation, and guest service delivery • Assist management in preparing budgetary information and reports in the required format, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Comply with hotel security regulations, fire safety procedures, and emergency protocols at all times
• Uphold ISO 9001 quality certification requirements and ISO 14001 environmental commitments, including energy conservation and waste management practices • Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner, understanding local preferences and cultural nuances • Support team members and contribute to a positive, inclusive working environment

Qualifications

**Required Skills and Experience:** • Proven experience in bar operations and beverage preparation within a hospitality environment • Proficiency in cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) systems • Strong knowledge of beverage recipes, cocktail preparation, and mixology techniques • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle complaints diplomatically

• Competency in inventory management and stock control • Solid understanding of HACCP regulations and food and beverage safety standards • Familiarity with bar equipment operation and maintenance • Strong organisational and time management abilities • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across multiple departments • Problem-solving mindset with the capacity to make decisive decisions under pressure

**Desirable Qualifications:** • HACCP certification or food safety qualification • ISO 9001 quality management system knowledge • Mixology or bartending certification • Experience in a similar hospitality establishment or hotel environment • Knowledge of local beverages and regional preferences in Visakhapatnam • Familiarity with environmental management practices (ISO 14001)
