Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Bar Back to join our team! You will contribute to an exceptional dining experience greeting guests, maintaining cleanliness of the bar, assisting with prep of ingredients needed for the bar, restocking, polishing glassware, and creating hospitality for guests alongside the bartenders.

This job is great for you if you are great at managing multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment. With special attention to the details, you care about performing quality work and overall contributing to a friendly and productive team atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness of the bar and related service areas (Lobby, bar area, etc).
• Assist with daily prep prior to service and restocking both before and during service hours
• Polishing, cleaning, and replenishing glassware and bar tools in support of the bartender
• Greeting guests and providing the first steps of service by providing menus and place settings and anticipating needs during guest experience such as refilling water or replacing cutlery
• Taking out recycling and trash, refilling ice, and replenishing bar supplies, ingredients, and beverage fridges from back stock
• Provide support to all bartenders and management staff as delegated

Qualifications:

• Previous knowledge of food service regulations and/or hospitality focused business preferred
• RAMP certification
• Skilled with the use of hand tools or machines needed for the position
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy
• Able to stand for extended periods of time
• Able to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks

This position is an hourly based position with additional compensation via tip out from the bartending staff.
