What you will do?

• Lead the team by example with a hands-on approach
• Oversee and assist with room setup according to event specifications
• Oversee day-to-day food and beverage management for large scale functions and events
• Lead, brief, and assign tasks to banquet staff
• Coordinate food and beverage service with kitchen staff
• Train new employees and ensure service standards are followed
• Ensure health, safety, and hygiene standards for food and beverage operations

More about you

• Previous hands-on experience in events, functions, or large group service
• Leadership and team supervision experience
• Customer service and guest handling
• Ability to multitask under pressure and problem-solve during live events
• Hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate and Responsible Service of Gambling certificate
• Ability to work up to 76 hours per fortnight across a 7-day roster, including evenings/nights, weekends and public holidays
• Available to commence by July 2026
