The Banquets Intern is a hands-on, management-focused internship designed to provide real-world experience in large-scale hospitality operations. This internship immerses students in the planning, coordination, execution, and service delivery of banquet and special event operations while rotating through Food & Beverage outlets and Kitchen operations.
Interns will gain a comprehensive understanding of how multiple hospitality departments collaborate to deliver high-quality guest experiences. The program emphasizes leadership exposure, operational efficiency, teamwork, and professional development.
This is a structured rotational internship intended to prepare participants for future leadership roles in hospitality management.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in college or recently graduated
- Pursuing a degree in hospitality management, culinary arts, restaurant management, or a related field preferred
- Strong interest in banquet, food & beverage, and kitchen operations
- Ability to communicate professionally with guests, peers, and leadership
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Demonstrates reliability, accountability, and a willingness to learn
- Ability to follow operational, sanitation, and safety standards
- Professional demeanor with strong customer service awareness
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and event schedules
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and assist with event setup when needed
