The Position:

Prepare food items for banquets as directed by Sous Chefs and cooks. Transport and clean cooking utensils and service-ware in order to provide cooks, bus-persons and food servers with appropriate equipment for guests' dining experience. Also requires cleaning of physical surroundings.

  • Responsible for organization and cleanliness of food storage areas and walk-in coolers
  • Perform other duties as requests, such as moving supplies and equipment, putting away product deliveries, recycling cardboard and dispensing of trash, etc.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace as determined by industry and resort standards
  • Sort soiled dishes and flatware so that it can be put through dish machine properly

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred
  • 1-3 years Culinary experience required. Prior hospitality experience preferred
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions
  • Able to handle multiple priorities and tasks at once in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and customer relations skills
  • 18 years of age
  • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required
  • Must have an excellent guest service approach in dealing with customer/guest
  • Current Food Handlers Certificate or ServSafe Certificate required
  • Must be able to obtain a Class I Gaming License
  • All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance (specific standards available)
