Status: Non-Exempt
Reports to: Banquet Captain/Manager
Main duties and responsibilities include:
- Setting up banquet tables and chairs for events
- Arranging table settings and linens
- Displaying centerpieces and decorations
- Assisting with the placement of audiovisual equipment
- Cleaning and maintaining event spaces
- Restocking supplies as needed
- Working collaboratively with other staff members to ensure successful events
- Providing exceptional customer service to guests
- Following health and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Helping with event breakdown and clean-up.

Qualifications
- Previous experience as banquet staff or similar role in the hospitality industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle stress and stay focused under pressure
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items, up to 100lbs with or without equipment assistance
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Food handling certification may be required depending on the state
