A Banquet Serveris responsible forserving food and beverages to guests at venues or catering events. The Banquet Server willbe responsible forproviding exceptional service to our guests during banquet events, ensuring all guests' needs are met ina timelyand professional manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Provide courteous, efficient, and professional service to guestsin accordance withbanquet service standards
Follow event timelines and service cues to ensure smooth and coordinated meal execution
Maintain awareness of event flow, including speeches, presentations, and entertainment
Respond promptly to guest needs while minimizing disruption to event proceedings
Monitor beverage levels andanticipaterefill needs during service
Confirm service instructions, table counts, and menu details during pre-event briefings
Communicate guest concerns or special requests promptly to banquet captain or management
Assistwith proper setup of banquet rooms including table settings, linens, glassware, and service stations
Ensure tables are uniformly set and presentation standards are maintained
Deliver meals to the correct guests using seat numbering or service direction guidelines
Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas throughout the event
Clear tables efficiently between courses while preserving event ambiance
Work collaboratively with banquet team members to execute synchronized service
Support buffet maintenance, restocking, and sanitation during service
Assistwith breakdown, equipment storage, and post-event cleaning procedures
Maintain polished uniform standards and professional demeanor at all times
Demonstrate positive body language and discretion during formal or high-profile events
Adhere to alcohol service laws, safety procedures, and company policies
Follow event documentation, service standards, and supervisor direction
Support a team-oriented environment focused on successful event execution
Perform other duties as assigned by Leads, Banquet Captain, or Banquet Manager.

KNOWLEDGE,SKILLAND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
Must hold a valid MASTClass 12or 13Permit (Washington state serving license)
Must hold a valid Washington Food Worker Card (Health & Food Safety)
Minimum 2 years professional experience inFood and Beverage, preferably catering
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
This positionisrequiredto work evenings,weekendsand holidayswhile in operation
Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position aminimum of50 pounds on anoccasional basis.
Able to manipulate a full-size keg of beer(~160 pounds)
Manual dexterity tooperatea computer and other common office equipment on a constant basis.
Auditory and visual acuity tooperatecomputers, phones, mobiledevicesand basic office equipment on a constant basis.
Ability to work for extended periods of time bending, reaching, and speaking on a constant basis.
Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, walking, kneeling,pushingand pulling on an occasional basis.
Talking and hearing occur continuouslyin the process of communicatingwith guests,supervisorsand other employees.
