The Banquet Server plays a vital role in creating memorable and seamless event experiences by delivering attentive, friendly, and efficient food and beverage service during banquets and special functions. Your ability to provide warm hospitality, anticipate guest needs, and support flawless event execution helps ensure every gathering—from corporate meetings to social celebrations—reflects the exceptional service standards of Live! Casino & Hotel. By maintaining professionalism, working collaboratively with the banquet team, and upholding the highest levels of presentation and guest care, you contribute directly to events that leave a lasting positive impression on every attendee.

Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact:

• Maintain a professional appearance and mannerism.
• Assist with set-up of tables, linens, chairs, etc. for full service of banquet events.
• Provide excellent food and beverage service for banquet events.
• Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures.
• Maintain back of the house, front of the house and side work duties for overall productivity of banquet events.
• Maintain positive and professional attitude.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills to Help You Succeed:

• Ability to use fountain soft drink, tea and coffee machines.
• Ability to read and write basic instructions.
• Knowledge of Alcohol Beverage Control laws, health regulations, and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Public relation skills needed.
• Ability to read and follow instructions from Banquet.

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• One - three years of experience in casual, buffet or fine dining restaurant is preferred.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the Maryland State Lottery and Gaming Commission for the position and an Alcohol Beverage Card required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk continually throughout a scheduled shift.
• Ability to bend, stoop and reach while carrying dishes, glasses and serving tray.
• Ability to push bus cart and carry trash/linen bags, weighing up to 35 lbs.

Working Conditions:

• 24/7 high energy casino with over 300,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 3000 employees.
• Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.
• You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.
• Willingness and ability to be flexible with work schedule. May require extended hours and work week from time to time.
