Job Description

Saz’s Catering is looking for part-time Banquet Servers to work with our team at a variety of events in the greater Milwaukee area. What's great about the role? No two days are the same! One day you might be working at a Brewers tailgate, the next a wedding, and the day after that an event at Summerfest Our Banquet Servers handle the full scope of the guest experience - setting the stage before they arrive and delivering attentive meal service throughout the event.

Okay, but what does a Banquet Server do?

  • Event preparation- includes setting table linen, décor & formal placement of tableware
  • Practice safe food handling procedures
  • Passing appetizers, serving meals to guest tables in a variety of service styles, such as plated or family style
  • Clear plates, glassware, silverware, and other waste from guest tables
  • Engage with guests in a friendly and respectful manner and be knowledgeable of event-specific menu items being served
  • Keep the event space and equipment neat, tidy, and clean

What else do you need to know?

  • Scheduling for this position is event-based, and availability from Thursday through Saturday is required
  • Reliable transportation is required – you will work at various locations around the greater Milwaukee area
  • Experience in food handling is preferred but not required
