As Mackinac Island’s only full-service, casually elegant resort, we are seeking enthusiastic and service-driven Banquet Servers to join our events team and ensure every guest enjoys seamless, polished service.

About the Role

Banquet Servers play a key role in delivering professional, attentive service during our resort’s special events and private functions. This hands-on position includes setting up banquet spaces, serving food and beverages, assisting with event coordination, and helping create memorable experiences for all guests.

This position is ideal for a guest-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys teamwork, and takes pride in delivering polished, attentive service.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

• 
  
  Experience: Previous banquet, catering, or restaurant service experience preferred but not required
• Professional Traits: Friendly, professional, detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to delivering exceptional service
• Problem-Solving: Ability to address guest needs and special requests with patience and professionalism
• Communication: Strong verbal communication skills; comfortable interacting with guests from diverse backgrounds
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and move for extended periods, lift trays and equipment up to 25 lbs, and work in a fast-paced event environment
• Location Requirement: Must be able to live and work on Mackinac Island during the operating season
