Job Description

The duties and responsibilities of a Banquet Server are to provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire event process to ensure the highest standard of customer satisfaction.

• Assist with the complete setup and breakdown of the banquet area.
• Relay food and beverage orders.
• Perform pre and post shift side work set-up condiments, etc.
• Properly store all reusable goods.
• Clear tables after service. Remove trays of dirty dishes, silverware and glassware to kitchen for cleaning.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and exceed customer service expectations.
• Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
• Relay important information about orders, allergies and special requests to the appropriate person.
• Respond to guest inquiries and special requests promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction; notify supervisor of guest complaints of unusual situations.
• Respond urgently and appropriately to any concerns.
• Present in professional appearance and mannerisms
• Perform other duties as assigned which may include assisting with set-up and break down a function space and plating of meals

Pay Range

Pay Range $18.00-$19.50/hr. Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors including but not limited to job related knowledge, skills and job specific experience/overall experience.
