At Kimpton Sevn Dubai, we are looking for a Banquet Manager who thrives in structured complexity—someone who can translate high-volume events into seamless, polished, and emotionally intelligent guest experiences.
This role sits at the intersection of operations, service excellence, and event storytelling. Reporting to the Hotel Manager and Cluster Director of Restaurants & Bars, you will be responsible for ensuring that every banquet, conference, meeting, social gathering, and special event is delivered with consistency, clarity, and excellence—regardless of scale or format.
Working closely with Restaurants & Bars leadership, Culinary, Sales, Events, and Hotel Operations teams, you will lead the end-to-end execution of all Conference & Banqueting activities, ensuring every detail is anticipated, coordinated, and flawlessly delivered.

Reporting to the Hotel Manager and Cluster Director of Restaurants & Bars, the Banquet Manager leads all Conference & Banqueting operations at Kimpton Sevn Dubai.

You will oversee the full event lifecycle from planning through execution while ensuring operational excellence and exceptional guest experiences.

Your Day-to-Day
No two days are the same; your responsibilities will span a range of operational, leadership, and collaborative activities, including but not limited to:
Event Operations Management
• Oversee execution of conferences, meetings, banquets, weddings, and special events
• Coordinate setup, service delivery, event flow, and breakdown activities
• Ensure alignment between all operational departments throughout event execution
• Monitor service quality and guest satisfaction during events
Team Leadership & Development
• Lead banquet service teams during events and daily operations
• Assign responsibilities based on event requirements and staffing levels
• Coach, mentor, and develop banquet colleagues and supervisors
• Support training initiatives and service excellence programs
Guest & Client Experience
• Liaise with clients, event organizers, and meeting planners before and during events
• Ensure event expectations are clearly understood and successfully delivered
• Respond professionally to requests, feedback, and operational changes
• Build strong relationships that encourage repeat business and client loyalty
Operational Excellence
• Ensure compliance with service standards, SOPs, health and safety requirements
• Monitor event timing, service flow, presentation, and operational readiness
• Maintain banquet equipment, inventories, and event space standards
• Drive continuous improvement within Conference & Banqueting operations
Financial & Commercial Performance
• Support budget management and labor productivity targets
• Control operational costs while maintaining service excellence
• Maximize event profitability through efficient planning and execution
• Collaborate with Sales and Events teams to support revenue objectives
Pre-Opening Support
• Support banquet facility setup and operational planning
• Assist in developing SOPs, service standards, and operational procedures
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and team training
• Lead mock events, service rehearsals, and opening readiness activities
• Contribute to successful hotel opening and operational stabilization

What We Need From You
Ideally, you bring some (or all) of the following qualifications and experience:
Education
• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Events Management, Hotel Management, or related discipline preferred
Experience
• 5–8 years of progressive Conference & Banquet or Events Operations experience
• Previous supervisory or managerial leadership experience required
• Experience within luxury hotels, lifestyle brands, resorts, or premium event venues preferred
• Pre-opening experience highly desirable
• Strong understanding of banquet operations, event logistics, and service excellence
• GCC and Dubai hospitality experience beneficial
