Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented team member to support banquet kitchen operations on a part-time basis.

Shifts include breakfast, lunch and dinner. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and takes pride in helping deliver a positive guest experience through organized, efficient kitchen support. This position works in a fast-paced banquet and kitchen environment where teamwork, adaptability, and attention to detail are essential. The role may involve exposure to heat, noise, and varying workloads depending on event schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with basic food preparation as directed by kitchen leadership.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas, equipment, and storage spaces.
  • Support banquet service by preparing trays, restocking supplies, and ensuring items are ready on time.
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and handling procedures at all times.
  • Wash dishes, utensils, and small equipment as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Assist with receiving, sorting, and storing deliveries in accordance with kitchen procedures.
  • Communicate clearly with team members to help ensure accurate and timely event execution.
  • Perform additional support tasks as assigned to meet operational needs.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a kitchen, banquet, catering, or hospitality environment is helpful but not required.
  • Ability to follow instructions, work efficiently, and remain organized in a busy setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and food safety.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or move items as needed for kitchen operations.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible part-time hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to support the team where needed.
