Banquet Captain

We are seeking an experienced Banquet Captain to lead our team in delivering exceptional service.

Must have a passion for hospitality and a proven track record in managing banquet events.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the setup, service, and breakdown of banquet events, ensuring all standards are met

- Lead and coordinate banquet staff to deliver high-quality service in a high-volume setting

- Communicate effectively with clients, banquet staff, and management to ensure event requirements are fulfilled

- Monitor service flow and address any issues promptly to maintain guest satisfaction

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies

- Assist with menu presentation and table arrangements as needed

- Manage time efficiently to ensure all aspects of the event run smoothly and on schedule

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

- Prior experience as a Banquet Captain or in a similar leadership role within a full-service, high-volume hospitality environment

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

- Ability to lead and motivate a team under pressure

- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

- Professional appearance and demeanor

- Ability to handle multiple events simultaneously with attention to detail
