Job Description

In the Bank Syndication Department, it’s our job to manage bank syndication financing for the national accounts and corporate banking teams. We are operationally involved in setting up files and following up on them throughout their useful life. As Bank Syndication Technician, you’ll help with the day-to-day management of bank syndication files. Specifically, you’ll enter transactions (disbursements, refunds and renewals) for files handled by the department. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Produce notices, rate confirmations and account statements for files in which the department plays an administrative agent role
  • Handle processing, follow-up, validation and monitoring tasks for accounting operations involving information analysis
  • Reconcile and carry out quality control checks on accounting operations
  • Ensure that monitoring and authorization procedures are followed so that accounting operations under your responsibility are carried out completely and accurately
  • Handle document management and update files under your responsibility
  • Produce, revise, analyze and update various documents and reports.

What you bring to the table

  • College diploma in administration, finance, accounting or a related field
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience
  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Intermediate advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or client
  • Proficiency with the Office 365 suite
