About the Role


As a Banking Operations Analyst you will be responsible to involves delivering Transaction Services in line with ANZ policies and regulatory requirements, while professionally managing stakeholder enquiries through to resolution. It includes providing accurate administrative support, ensuring error-free documentation, communicating clearly with stakeholders, and supporting team members through guidance and collaboration.

What will your day look like?


As a Banking Operations Analyst you will:

  • Maintain consistent productivity levels while managing daily workload efficiently.
    Support workforce capacity planning by ensuring accurate tracking of tasks and outputs.
  • Record and update information in work tools with high accuracy to minimize rework for yourself and the team.
  • Complete assigned tasks and customer/partner interactions with a strong focus on quality, targeting ≥97% accuracy and minimal errors.
  • Monitor personal performance metrics, contributing to 100%+ productivity and understanding how your work impacts team outcomes.
  • Apply strong process knowledge and assist others by providing guidance and clarity when needed.
  • Conduct quality checks on your own work, take ownership of improvements, and contribute to overall team quality standards.
  • Complete all required compliance training, adhere to policies, maintain information security, and escalate potential risks promptly.
  • Continuously look for opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and overall performance across the team.

What will you bring?


To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Strong understanding of banking processes and procedures, gained through operational experience.
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to manage routine escalations independently.
  • Hands-on experience with ANZ systems such as EODSF, CAP, CARDS, CARBE, Web Voucher, Vision Plus, and Siebel.
  • A customer-focused mindset with excellent service delivery skills.
  • Ability to work proactively in a team environment, collaborate across locations, meet SLAs, and effectively prioritise tasks.
  • Capability to support and coach junior team members, contributing to overall team development.
