Job Description

Business & Finance Consulting (www.bfconsulting.com), a Swiss consulting company specialized in development finance, is looking for a Banking Analyst / Business Development Expert (with fluent English ). This is an incredible opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the international development finance sector by supporting the development of proposals for projects funded by prestigious organizations such as the EBRD, EIB, KfW, IFC/WB, ADB, AFD.

Details:
  • Location: home-based/remote
  • Input: full-time or part-time (both options are possible)

What you will do (Your Duty):
  • Proposal Development: Support the preparation of proposals in the financial development sector for emerging countries in response to tenders issued by international development organizations (donors)
  • Expert Analytics and Assessment Design targeted search strategies of suitable experts based on the project requirements, conduct structured evaluations of experts’ profiles, and prepare comparative assessment matrices to support evidence-based selection decisions
  • Recruitment: Lead the screening and recruitment of international consultants for for complex advisory assignments in the banking and financial sector and oversee the preparation of all relevant documents
  • Stakeholder Communication: Represent BFC in direct communication with international consultants and partners

Who we are looking for (Your Profile):
  • Education Master degree
  • Expertise Familiarity with at least one of the following areas: banking, MSME finance, economic development, green/ sustainable finance and development, agricultural finance
  • Experience Previous experience in one of the following areas: banking, development finance, finance/ banking-related project
  • Languages: Excellent written and spoken English, fluent Russian and/or French is an advantage
  • Communication Skills Exceptional writing and communication skills to present ideas in a structured and clear way
