Job Description

Duties: Provide wealth management advice and solutions to high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) families in Latin American (LATAM), specifically Peru, using the Spanish language to communicate with clients. Address clients' complex financial issues and propose innovative wealth management solutions. Navigate cross-border transactions within and across different LATAM countries, ensuring smooth and compliant international operations. Advise clients on their options for wealth preservation in Peru while fulfilling other financial needs such as credit, investments, or banking. Protect and maintain client confidentiality during investment discussions in accordance with country-specific laws and regulations. Provide a holistic approach to the client's balance sheet, using the Spanish language to present options to clients. Advise clients on investment strategies and structure financial products that minimize legal and financial risks to both clients and the bank. Drive new client acquisition and business development in the country, using Spanish to broaden one's professional client network. Leverage personal and professional networks to onboard new clients and deepen the book of business in the region. Connect new and existing clients to other teams and lines of business in the bank. Coordinate and introduce specialists to provide expertise on different topics to clients. Ensure financial transactions and client interactions adhere to country-specific legal standards. This position requires up to 25% international travel to Peru to visit various client sites and to meet with potential business prospects and centers of influence (COIs).

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Business Administration, General Management, Finance, Marketing, Legal Studies/Law, Economics, Accounting, or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as Banker, Prospector, Investment/Risk Analyst, Trader, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, General Management, Finance, Marketing, Legal Studies/Law, Economics, Accounting, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Banker, Prospector, Investment/Risk Analyst, Trader, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following skills: navigating complex regulatory environments across Latin America (LATAM) jurisdictions, and complying with country-specific regulations in order to ensure financial transactions and client interactions adhere to country-specific legal standards; handling cross-border transactions within and across different LATAM countries; executing, reviewing, and negotiating investment agreements, loan documents, and trust deeds; assessing and mitigating risks associated with financial transactions; handling sensitive financial information in compliance with country-specific privacy laws; direct sourcing, client acquisition, and building a client base and network in LATAM; developing relationships with high net worth clients in the LATAM region; business development in a competitive industry; sales experience including profiling, overcoming objections, negotiation, team selling approach, closing the sale, and asking for referrals; asset classes including equities, fixed income, alternatives, and derivatives; investments, wealth planning, credit, trusts, and banking concepts including collateralized credit, wealth advisory planning, deposits, and custody; and communicating investment strategies to clients and prospects. This position requires oral, auditory, and written fluency in the Spanish language.

Job Location: 1450 Brickell Avenue, Miami, FL 33131. This position requires up to 25% international travel to Peru to visit various client sites and to meet with potential business prospects and centers of influence (COIs).
