Theatre Administrator/Spire Nottingham Hospital/Tollerton/Bank Ad-Hoc Shifts

Spire Nottingham Hospital is seeking a motivated Administrator to join our Theatre team. This role is perfect for someone with strong organisational and administrative skills who wants to work in a professional and collaborative environment, playing a key role in supporting patient care behind the scenes.

Please note that access to your own transport is essential due to limited public transport links.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily theatre schedules, maintaining accurate operating lists and effective diary management.
  • Provide efficient administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the theatre department.
  • Act as the first point of contact, managing queries and directing them appropriately.
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service to patients, consultants and colleagues.
  • Support the Theatre Manager in ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the theatre department.
  • Maintain quality systems and support compliance with relevant regulatory and healthcare standards, including CQC requirements.
  • Manage and distribute information to internal and external stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner.

Who We're Looking For

  • Access to your own transport is essential due to limited public transport links.
  • Previous experience in an administrative support role.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and other administrative systems, with the ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise workload and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience handling confidential information appropriately and professionally.
  • Previous healthcare administration experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
