Mar Lodge is located in Melton Mowbray in Leicestershire, and is a residential home which supports seven males and females with a primary learning disability diagnosis. We are located off a main road, and surrounded by lovely views and beautiful countryside.

Our team are dedicated to supporting each person we care for to have a healthy, happy and independent life, within a safe and welcoming home.

What you'll be doing

We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Bank Support Workers to join our team and provide high-quality, person-centred support to individuals who use our services. This flexible role allows you to work on a bank basis while making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

As a Bank Support Worker, you will provide direct support that promotes dignity, independence, and choice. You will work closely with individuals to help them live fulfilling lives, supporting them with daily activities and encouraging them to achieve their personal goals.

The role can be both rewarding and challenging, so resilience, patience, and a caring nature are essential. No two days are the same, and your empathy and positive attitude will help individuals navigate both the highs and lows of daily life.

Your responsibilities may include supporting individuals with everyday tasks, promoting independence, encouraging social engagement, and providing emotional support.

What you'll bring to the role

  • Experience in care or support work (desirable, but not essential – training provided).
