Bank Pre Assessment Administrator | Admin Department | Spire Bushey Hospital | Hertfordshire | Private Hospital | Flexible Working Contract | £13.07 per hour + Excellent benefits

Spire Bushey Hospital are seeking an experienced administrator to join the team on an ad-hoc, bank basis within the pre assessment department. As an Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the ward for patients, visitors and staff.

Spire Bushey Hospital forms part of a 4 site portfolio, and is supported by and works alongside Spire Bushey Diagnostic Centre, Elstree Cancer Centre and Spire Pathology Centre. Our theatre team cover a wide variety of specialties including Ortho, Bariatric, General, Gyane, ENT, Urology, Plastics, Ophthalmics, Spinal.

Duties and responsibilities;

• Responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the Pre Assessment department for patients, visitors and staff.
• To undertake administrative role in handling consultant clinic requests, written request for appointments, and other administrative activities as they occur.
• To deal with all telephone enquiries in an efficient and courteous manner
• To give clear, concise information to all enquiries
• To provide administrative assistance in the preparation of clinic lists, patient registration forms, charging and all other duties as determined by your team and/or manager
• Ensure that all filing of results and other information is accurately filed in the patient’s notes

Who we're looking for:

• Previous relevant experience in an administrative support role, within a similar industry would be ideal but not essential
• Excellent attention to detail
• Customer Service skills
• Process driven
• Team player
• Computer literate
• Adept at handling various calls on a daily basis
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Working Hours: 0 - 37.5 per week
