Spire Bushey Hospital is seeking an experienced Theatre Practitioner to join its Theatre Department Staffing Bank Team. Spire Bushey Hospital forms part of a 4 site portfolio, and is supported by and works alongside Spire Bushey Diagnostic Centre, Elstree Cancer Centre and Spire Pathology Centre – based on Centennial Park in Elstree - just 5 minutes from the main hospital site.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Perioperative Practitioner with scrub expertise to join our well-established theatre team. You will play a key role in supporting patients through their perioperative journey and ensuring the highest standards of care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exemplary planned care for patients during the perioperative stage.
• Assist in managing and organising care within the Scrub/Recovery team.
• Work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Assess patient needs, implement and evaluate care plans.

What We’re Looking For

• HCPC registered ODP or NMC registered Nurse (no restrictions).
• Minimum 2 years scrub experience (Orthopaedics)
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Flexible, positive attitude.
• Desirable: Surgical First Assist (SFA) qualification
• Full time 37.5 hours per week
