Qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), with 6-12 months post registration experience with active NMC Registration and completed preceptorship programme. Knowledge of NMC guidelines, requests and professional practices.
This role is not suitable for newly qualified nurses or preceptorship nurses.

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care to a defined group of patients, assessing, planning, implementing, and reviewing care plans in partnership with patients and their families or carers. They will accurately assess patients' needs, monitor progress, and respond appropriately to changes in condition while contributing to a multidisciplinary approach to care. Responsibilities include prioritising and delegating nursing duties, acting as nurse in charge when required, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment. The role also involves participating in clinical supervision, ongoing professional development, and acting as a Preceptor to newly qualified staff. Candidates must maintain positive professional relationships, adhere to safeguarding, Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, and medicines management requirements, and practise in accordance with organisational policies and the NMC Code.
You will join the team across all wards. In this role, you will play a key part in patient recovery, supporting the assessment and delivery of tailored treatment plans while ensuring dignity, respect, and high standards of care.
