Are you someone who enjoys providing excellent customer service and takes pride in helping others? We're looking for a Bank Host and Catering Assistant to join our team at Spire Dunedin Hospital.
This is a rewarding, patient-facing role where you'll play an important part in helping patients feel comfortable and cared for during their stay. Whilst this is a non-clinical role, the service you provide has a direct impact on patient comfort, wellbeing and overall experience within the hospital.
From serving meals and refreshments to checking dietary requirements and allergies, you'll help ensure patients receive the right support at the right time whilst contributing to the high standards of care, safety and service that Spire Healthcare is known for.
As a Bank Host and Catering Assistant, you will support the smooth delivery of food and beverage services across our wards, helping to ensure patients feel comfortable, supported and well cared for throughout their stay.
You'll spend much of your time interacting directly with patients, serving meals, teas and coffees, checking dietary requirements and allergies, and helping maintain a welcoming ward environment. By ensuring patients receive meals that meet their dietary needs, you'll contribute to both patient safety and wellbeing.
Working closely with clinical colleagues and the wider Hotel Services team, you'll help ensure meals are delivered accurately whilst maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety and service.
This is a busy and active role that requires confidence, organisation and the ability to work independently whilst delivering a professional and caring service.
At Spire Dunedin Hospital, you'll become part of a team that understands the important role Hotel Services colleagues play in the overall patient journey.
You'll work alongside supportive colleagues who are committed to delivering outstanding service and patient care. Every day brings variety, responsibility and the opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of our ward services.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in delivering excellent customer service and thrives in a busy environment where no two days are the same. You'll have the opportunity to make a genuine difference to patients whilst gaining valuable experience within one of the UK's leading independent healthcare providers.
