Bank Host and Catering Assistant | Kitchen | St Anthony's Hospital | Private Hospital | Bank | Flexible Working | Sutton

At Spire Healthcare, we put people at the heart of everything we do. As a Host and Catering Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our colleagues and patients’ through excellent food service and warm hospitality.

Founded in 1904, Spire St Anthony's Hospital delivers care through skilled and dedicated staff working together. With a completed £27m development investment, we provide very high quality healthcare to patients around Sutton, Epsom, Surrey and South London.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Supporting our Catering team in delivering a high standard of service to patients on the wards, including helping with menu choices, serving meals, and ensuring regular refreshments.
• Assisting our Chefs with basic food preparation, stock rotation, and maintaining cleanliness in our restaurant and kitchen areas.
• Providing friendly, attentive service to patients, visitors, and colleagues, always maintaining a professional and approachable manner.
• Ensuring all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards are met, with full compliance at all times.
  
  Respecting patient confidentiality and contributing to a calm, welcoming environment.
  

Who we're looking for:

• Previous experience in catering in a similar environment is essential.
• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate is a minimum requirement.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in a busy setting.
• A positive, flexible attitude and strong communication skills.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service with empathy and professionalism.
