Priory Hospital Norwich is looking to recruit a Bank Healthcare Assistant to join the team This is a bank hours role.
We are a 34 bedded acute mental Health hospital which opened in 2020 across 3 wards situation in the town of Attleborough. The role of Bank Healthcare Assistant is to provide support to our multi-disciplinary clinical team, with the benefit of the additional flexibility in shifts. Priory Hospital Norwich ensures that we put our patients at the centre of everything we do. We are a busy acute unit aiming to offer a high standard of care and deliver great outcomes for patients, with a new PICU ward opening in Summer 2025.
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. As a Bank Healthcare Assistant , you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients

We are seeking caring, motivated, and flexible Health Care Assistants with a genuine interest in supporting individuals with a range of mental and physical health needs. Candidates should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships and deliver compassionate, person-centred care. Experience in a healthcare or mental health setting is desirable, but not essential, as full training will be provided. The role requires strong teamwork skills, as you will work closely with qualified nurses and multidisciplinary colleagues to support patient care and wellbeing.
