We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in London. This Band 7 role requires a specialist in stroke rehabilitation, offering an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on patient outcomes. The successful candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to individuals with speech, language, and communication difficulties.
What will your responsibilities be
In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in patients who have experienced a stroke. You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and adjust interventions as necessary. Additionally, you will provide education and support to patients and their families, collaborate with other healthcare professionals, and contribute to the development of best practices in stroke rehabilitation.
