Job Title: Locum Cardiac Physiologist
Banding: Band 7
Location: Gloucester
Working Hours: Full-time
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: £40 - £50 per hour
Duration: 3 months

The Clinical Physiology team at Pulse is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Invasive Cardiac Physiologist to join our dynamic team in Gloucester. This is a full-time position, starting on the 10th of June 2024, for a duration of 3 months. The successful candidate will be working at Band 7 level and will be compensated at a rate of £40 - £50 per hour.

What will your responsibilities be?

You will perform invasive cardiac procedures, including angiograms, pacemaker insertions, and electrophysiology studies. You will monitor and assess patients’ cardiac functions during procedures. You will collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. You will maintain accurate and detailed patient records. You will ensure all procedures are carried out in accordance with hospital policies and safety standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Essential:
  • IBHRE / BHRS accreditation (desirable).
  • Relevant qualifications and registration as a Cardiac Physiologist.
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in invasive cardiac physiology.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
