Position: Band 6/7 Locum Physiotherapist

Banding: 6/7

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 09:00am – 17:00pm

Duration: Ongoing

Rate: £24.00 - £32.00


We are seeking a Band 6/7 Locum Physiotherapist with specialised experience in community aged care, frailty, falls management, equipment prescription, and rehabilitation. The role is full-time, requiring 37.5 hours per week from Monday to Friday, 09:00am to 17:00pm. The successful candidate will be HCPC registered and have the right to work in the UK. This position involves providing comprehensive physiotherapy services to older adults within a community setting, focusing on improving functional outcomes and quality of life.

What your responsibilities will be for this Physiotherapist role?

As a Band 6/7 Locum Physiotherapist, you will deliver expert physiotherapy care to patients in the community, specialising in aged care, frailty, and falls management. Your duties will include conducting detailed assessments, developing and implementing personalised rehabilitation plans, and providing ongoing support to improve patients' mobility and independence. You will be responsible for prescribing and managing appropriate equipment to support patient care. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals and agencies is essential to ensure a coordinated approach to patient management. Effective communication with patients and their families to educate them about their conditions and treatment options is key. You will also contribute to service development and maintain accurate patient records to support high-quality care delivery.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Relevant degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification
  • Demonstrable experience in community aged care, frailty, falls management, equipment prescription, and rehabilitation
  • Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work full-time hours, Monday to Friday, 09:00am to 17:00pm
