We are seeking dedicated and experienced Band 6 and 7 Paediatric Speech and Language Therapists to join our client's team in Shepshed. This role involves working with children and adolescents aged 11-19, providing a range of interventions including assessments, group work, one-to-one sessions with students and families, and classroom work. The successful candidates will manage a small caseload of clients with complex developmental speech and language disorders, learning difficulties, and sensory impairments.

What will your responsibilities be

The Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, developing and implementing tailored intervention plans, and monitoring progress. This role includes facilitating group sessions, providing individual therapy, and collaborating with families and educational staff to support the client's communication needs. The therapist will also provide training and advice to teachers and caregivers, ensuring a holistic approach to the client's development. Effective documentation and communication are essential to maintain accurate records and ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Relevant Speech and Language Therapy qualification
  • Registration with the appropriate professional body
  • Experience working with children and adolescents
  • Knowledge of ASD, dyslexia, and learning difficulties
  • Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to continuous professional development
