Pay Rates: £16-£28 per hour

Pulse Nursing is seeking compassionate and experienced Paediatric Nurses to join our team and work within a prestigious Warrington & Halton NHS FT. This is an excellent opportunity for dedicated nurses who are passionate about delivering outstanding care to children and young people in a supportive clinical environment.

Pay rates range from £16 to £24 per hour on PAYE (Days £16, Nights/Saturdays £21, Sundays/Bank Holidays £24) and £19 to £28 per hour under Umbrella (Days £19, Nights/Saturdays £24, Sundays/Bank Holidays £28)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to infants, children, and young people.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care in line with individual patient needs.
• Monitor patients’ conditions and respond appropriately to changes.
• Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with Trust policies.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, therapists, and support staff.
• Communicate effectively with children and their families, offering reassurance, education, and emotional support.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Adhere to all safeguarding, health and safety, and infection control policies.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid NMC pin.
• Paediatric nursing qualification (RN Child).
• Previous experience working within a paediatric setting.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child-focused care.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced environments.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
