About the Role

The Bancassurance Division Manager (BDM) is responsible for ensuring that division sales targets and objectives are met. The position is responsible for overseeing hiring, training/development of Bancassurance Sale Executives and Bancassurance Area Managers well as collaborating with the Bank Partner on strategic planning, productivity optimization, business solutions and problem resolution.

  • Promote and maintain the reputation of BPI AIA and its affiliates
  • Ensure each individual reporting to him/her delivers to committed targets and service levels and develops strategies to support these
  • Implement activity management based on agreed company standards and ensures assigned Bancassurance Area Managers have complete logistics needed to perform the job
  • Maintain regular contact and communication with his/her bank counterpart/s - the Division Heads and other key bank officers and employees thereby promoting a close and trusting relationship with the bank at all times.
  • Ensure that there is sufficient bank coverage (optimal headcount) at all times
  • Motivate, train and coach Bancassurance Area Managers and Bancassurance Sales Executives as necessary to produce excellent results.
  • Identify and request for the training needs of his/her division and assist the Sales Training and Development department in conducting trainings, bank and client forums as necessary
  • Prepare and analyzes consolidated division reports and puts in place action steps as necessary.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with the bank’s Division Heads
  • Perform other tasks as may be required by immediate superior for the purposes of bancassurance business.
